Remi Tinubu Honoured with Anambra Chieftaincy Title

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has been conferred with a chieftaincy title in Anambra State during her visit to the state.

Tinubu received the honour as part of activities marking her visit, where she was hosted by Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his wife, Nonye Soludo. The First Lady also carried out official engagements, including the commissioning of an ICT centre at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko.

The chieftaincy honour adds to the recognition Tinubu has received from traditional institutions across the country, reflecting her role and contributions to national development.

The visit also provided an opportunity for the Anambra State Government and the Presidency to strengthen engagements on programmes aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians, particularly women, children and young people.

During her stay in the state, Tinubu was received by top government officials, traditional rulers and other stakeholders, who joined in celebrating the honour.

The First Lady has continued to use her public engagements to promote initiatives focused on education, healthcare, women empowerment and support for vulnerable groups across Nigeria.

Her latest chieftaincy title in Anambra further strengthens her relationship with the people and traditional institutions of the South-East as she continues her engagements across different parts of the country.
