Breaking News: Police Inspector, Several Others Killed in Lagos-Ibadan Multi-Truck Collision

At least four people have been confirmed dead and several others injured in a multiple-vehicle accident involving five articulated trucks on Kara Bridge, heading toward Mowe, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Thursday.
Among the victims was a police inspector serving with the Lagos State Police Command.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Moshood Jimoh, who visited the scene, confirmed the incident. He said emergency teams worked through the early hours to rescue victims and remove the wreckage from the road.
“We have a case of multiple accidents at the border between Ogun and Lagos State. Five vehicles were involved, all articulated vehicles. Precisely, three people have been rescued from the scene of the accident,” the Commissioner said.
