King Charles Strips Brother; Andrew Loses Titles, Windsor Home

In what many are calling a bold move within the royal family, King Charles has reportedly stripped his brother, Prince Andrew, of all remaining titles and asked him to vacate his Windsor residence.
The palace confirmed the decision on Thursday, saying it was the latest step in the fallout from Andrew’s links to Jeffrey Epstein.
“Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor,” Buckingham Palace said, adding that the King had started the formal process to remove all his brother’s titles. Andrew has also been told to move out of his longtime home on Windsor Castle’s grounds and will move “to alternative private accommodation” soon.

The move came after fresh anger over new sexual assault claims made by one of Epstein’s main accusers against the 65-year-old royal, who continues to deny the allegations.
“These censures are deemed necessary, even though he continues to deny the allegations against him,” the palace said.
“Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse,” it added.
“Andrew is said to have accepted the King’s decision, and the UK government was informed.”
The development comes days after the posthumous release of Virginia Giuffre’s memoir, where she repeated claims that she was trafficked to have sex with Andrew three times, twice when she was just 17.
Giuffre died by suicide in April at 41, while Epstein died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking.
As of press time, the palace had not given further details on the next steps for Prince Andrew.
