Retired OGTV Broadcaster, Security Guard Found Dead In Ogun Home

Tragedy struck in Ogun State after a retired broadcaster with Ogun State Television, popularly known as OGTV, and her security guard were found dead under suspicious circumstances at her residence, triggering a major police investigation.
The deceased broadcaster, identified as Kitan Oyesiku, was discovered inside her apartment, while the body of her security guard was reportedly found at the security post within the compound located in the Iyana Agodo area of Owode-Egba, Ogun State.
According to preliminary police findings, officers who arrived at the scene noticed signs of forced entry and visible disturbance around the residence, raising suspicion that unknown attackers may have broken into the property.
Reports said the incident came to light after a resident noticed unusual activity around the house and quickly alerted security authorities, prompting immediate police intervention.
During a search of the premises, investigators reportedly discovered that the late broadcaster’s vehicle was missing, adding another layer of suspicion as detectives continue efforts to determine what exactly happened.
The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed the incident and announced that a full-scale investigation has already been launched to track down those responsible for the shocking deaths.
Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, has reportedly directed detectives to intensify surveillance operations and deploy intelligence teams to uncover the circumstances surrounding the suspected attack.
Kitan Oyesiku, popularly known by many as “Aunty Kitan,” was widely respected in Ogun’s media community after spending years working with Ogun State Television before retiring from active service.
