Lagos Pastor Says Tattoo Spread Gospel Worldwide

A Lagos pastor says his tattoo helped spread the Christian gospel to millions of people in just one day, drawing attention from believers and non-believers alike.
Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo told reporters that when he posted a photo of his tattoo on social media, the message it carried resonated widely and was shared by many users, leading to a massive reach within 24 hours.
The tattoo, inked on his arm, contains a scripture message that Okonkwo said reflects his faith and mission to share the gospel with others, both online and offline.
Okonkwo, who leads a church in Lagos, said the response far exceeded his expectations, with thousands of people commenting, liking and reposting the image.
He explained that his intention in getting the tattoo was not to attract attention, but to serve as a walking testimony of his faith, hoping it would spark conversations about God.
According to the pastor, in the hours after sharing the image, many people told him they were encouraged and inspired by the message, saying it reminded them of the power of faith in difficult times.
Some followers said they had shared the post with friends and family, helping the story reach even more people in and outside Nigeria.
The pastor said he also received messages from individuals who said they had decided to study the Bible or attend church because of what they saw in the tattoo post.
He stressed that his goal now is to use the attention to encourage others to explore their own faith and to spread messages of hope and love in their communities.
He urged Christians to be bold in sharing their beliefs, whether through words, actions or personal expressions that reflect their commitment to their faith.
