Nigeria is Open to Global Cooperation on Climate – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu, in his speech at the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Summit, said that Nigeria is open to working with the global community to tackle climate change. He thanked the King of Abu Dhabi for hosting him, as well as the other leaders present at the summit.
During his address, Tinubu outlined Nigeria’s climate priorities, including the expansion of renewable energy, improving access to clean energy, and promoting climate‑aligned investments. He also urged international partners to increase support for climate finance and to back sustainable infrastructure projects across Africa.
