Man United Set to Name Carrick Interim Manager

By Wellington Jopelo
Manchester United are on the verge of appointing Michael Carrick as their interim head coach, with reports indicating that an agreement has already been reached in principle.
Sky Sports reported on Tuesday that the former Red Devils midfielder has given his consent to step in and oversee the team until the end of the current season. The move would mark Carrick’s return to Old Trafford, where he previously served both as a player and a member of the club’s coaching staff.
Sources say discussions are at an advanced stage, with only final formalities left before the club makes an official announcement. United are believed to be seeking short-term stability after a difficult spell marked by inconsistent results and internal challenges.
An official confirmation from the club is expected soon.
