Three Dead, Several Injured Lagos-Ibadan Crash

Not fewer than three people have died and several others injured in a crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) said the accident happened near the Secretariat, heading towards the Otedola Bridge.
According to the agency, three vehicles were involved in the collision, which resulted in multiple casualties. LASTMA confirmed that emergency responders from the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) were at the scene providing medical attention to the injured.
“Three vehicles were involved in the collision, resulting in three fatalities and several serious injuries. LASAMBUS personnel are on the scene, providing medical attention to the injured victims,” the statement read.
LASTMA added that officers from the Nigerian Police Force were also on site, managing traffic and maintaining order. Efforts are ongoing to clear the crash site and restore normal traffic flow along the busy expressway.
Motorists have been advised to exercise caution while approaching the area to prevent further accidents.
