NECO to Release 2025 SSCE External Results on Tuesday

The National Examinations Council (NECO) will release the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External on February 3, 2026. The results will be officially announced by the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, at 10:45 a.m.
The information was made known through an internal circular issued by the council’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations. The notice confirmed the exact time and venue for the release of the results.
According to the circular, staff members were directed to gather at the Conference Hall by 10:30 a.m. to witness the formal release of the results by the NECO Registrar.
The SSCE External examination is mainly written by private candidates who are not part of the regular school system. These candidates usually register independently to obtain their secondary school certificate.
NECO conducts the external examination every year to give opportunities to candidates who missed the internal examination conducted in schools. It also allows those who want to improve their previous results to do so.
Many candidates across the country sat for the 2025 SSCE External with the hope of meeting admission and employment requirements. The release of the results is therefore important to thousands of candidates.
The council has maintained its tradition of formally announcing examination results through official channels. This process ensures transparency and credibility in the examination system.
Candidates who participated in the examination are expected to check their results after the official announcement. NECO usually provides details on how candidates can access their results online.
The release of the SSCE External results often attracts attention from students, parents, and education stakeholders across the country. It marks an important stage for candidates planning their next academic or career steps.
With the results set to be released on Tuesday morning, candidates are eagerly waiting to know their performance in the examination.
