The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has handed down three year ban to Nigerian athlete, Grace Nkwocha for using prohibited substances.
Nkwocha had been provisionally suspended in September 2022 after she failed a doping test conducted on her during the games.
The ban takes effect from August 3, 2022, until August 2, 2025.
The AIU announced the sanction on their official X handle.
Nkwocha was a member of the quartet that won gold for Nigeria in the 4x 100m at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Blessing Okagbare and Divine Oduduru are among the Nigerian athletes currently serving bans for anti-doping violations.
