Arsenal’s latest recruit, Jurrien Timber, has revealed reasons why he joined the Premier League giants from Ajax.
Timber was officially unveiled as Arsenal’s new signing on Friday, having joined Mikel Arteta’s side from Ajax on a long-term deal.
Speaking to Arsenal’s official website, Timber said he joined the Gunners because he has always been a fan of the North London club and loves how the team plays.
“I’ve always been a fan of Arsenal. It was because of my brothers. They were always fans and I just loved seeing the team play,” Timber said.
“They had big players, the way they played, the style. I just love the club. I had this from a young age but my brothers kind of put that in me.”
