Tinubu, Wike, El-Rufai In Aso Rock Closed Door Meeting

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday meet with ex-governors Nyesom Wike and Nasir El-Rufai at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja, Daily Trust reports.

According to the paper, Wike arrived at the State House around 1:40 pm, while El-Rufai entered the presidential wing of Aso Rock around 2 pm.

Theroyaltimes.com reports that both Wike and El-Rufai are ministerial nominees.

While Wike was screened and confirmed by the Senate, El-Rufai is yet to be cleared over an alleged pending security report.

As at the time of filing this report, the agenda of the meeting has not been in public domain but there are speculations that efforts are being made to ensure that the Senate confirms Malam El-Rufai.
