Tinubu Arrives India Ahead Of G20 Summit + Other Itinerary

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in New Delhi, the capital of India, for a six-day official visit on Tuesday,

Tinubu will during the visit attend the G-20 Leaders’ Summit slated for September 9 – 10, 2023 amongst other engagements.

The President will also attend several high-level meetings and engagements with other world leaders and business executives on the sidelines of the Summit.

Aside participating in the summit, President will also meet with the Nigerian community in India.

The Boeing 737 conveying the President and his entourage, landed  at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, at about 6:40 pm local (2:10 pm Nigerian) time.

Recall that the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement issued on Sunday, 3 September, 2023 discloded that Tinubu would, through various engagements, attract global capital and increase foreign direct investments to the country.

According to Ngelale, Tinubu would hold roundtable talks with at least 20 business leaders from various sectors, and bilateral meetings with the leaders of India, South Korea, Brazil and Germany.

Accompanying President Tinubu on the mission, according to the statement, are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar; Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, and Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite.
