Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen on Sunday invaded Tse Gamber in Sengev Council Ward in Gwer West LGA of Benue State killing no fewer than six persons
It was gathered that the attack lasted several hours before the invaders left without resistance from the defenseless community.
According to a source, Mr Perver Acham claimed that the herdsmen numbering 10, in the early hours of Sunday, attacked the community killing three persons with one Iorhon Dam being taken away by the attackers.”
Acham added that Camp, Nagi, Mbachohon Council Ward, a settlement along Naka-Agagbe road, was attacked Sunday evening, with three persons killed and several others injured.
He explained further that added that the bodies of the victims could not be removed for fear of another attack.
As at the time of filing this report, the State police command is yet to comment on the development.
