The presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 elections in Nigeria, Peter Obi, has shared his experience at the Redeemed Christian Church of God 70th Annual Convention.
Obi spoke of his experience on Friday at the Convention in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle on Saturday.
Obi, at the convention, tagged: “Perfect Jubilee,” received a rousing welcome as he was introduced alongside other dignitaries at the service presided over by the General Overseer, Worldwide, of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
The ovation for the former two-term Anambra State Governor, who visited the newly-christened Redemption City along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway for the first time, did not die down easily.
It took time for the female pastor doing the recognition to calm the excited crowd.
On Saturday, Obi tweeted: “Sharing moments of true worship last night with a great congregation at the RCCG Convention was a special experience of joy, strength and love for me.
“I was humbled by the warm welcome, but above all, I am grateful for the opportunity to be in the midst of the brethren.”
