Nightclubs Over Alleged Immoral Acts

Operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) , Gombe State command, have arrested at least 46 suspects at local night clubs, popularly known as Gidan Gala, over alleged immoral acts.
The arrest of the suspects came few hours after the State Governor, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, directed that that all local night clubs operating in the state should be shut with immediate effect.
The arrested suspects comprise 32 females and 14 males.
The State Public Relations Officer, NSCDC, Mu’azu Sa’ad, made this disclosure while parading the suspects before newsmen,
“The suspects were found wanting for perpetrating immoral and criminal acts in these Gidan Gala, ”Sa’ad explained, adding that the command has been able to reach out to some of the parents of the suspects
The command image-maker, who added that the suspects would be charging to court, disclosed that the suspects were apprehended around 9pm following the directive that was issued around 4pm on Monday.
The suspects, according to Sa’ad, were arrested at Sabon Gida BCGA, Jamiyar Gadan Gala at New Mile 6, while others were arrested at Gidan Wasa/Gidan Drama, New Mile 3, and Liji, along Kalshingi Road.
