At least three persons were confirmed dead in an accident involving two motorcycles conveying a total of five passengers at Iponda in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State
The Osun Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC), Henry Bernamaisia confirmed the sad development on Sunday, August 20, 2023, just as he also added that the collision between the two motorcycles led to the fatal outcome.
Eyewitnesses said the victims were quickly rushed the hospital where three of them were confirmed dead.
According to the eyewitness, the accident occurred at about 7pm on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
The remaining two victims are currently receiving medical treatment.
