Man, 26, Arraign For Allegedly Stealing Truck Cylinder Worth N200,000

The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned  a 26-year-old man, Taiwo Yusuf, before an Ojo Magistrate’s Court, Lagos  presided over by Mr L.K J Layeni  on Friday , over alleged stealing of truck cylinders valued at N200,000.

Yusuf, whose address was not given, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.

The prosecutor, Dr Simon Uche, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on October. 5, at Irede, in the Abule Osun area of Ojo.

Uche  alleged that the defendant conspired with others now at large to steal a DAF Truck Top Cylinder, valued at N200,000, belonging to a firm, Fouani Nig. Ltd

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Magistrate,  Layeni, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum

He adjourned the case until Nov. 27 for trial.
