Gunmen have kidnapped the wife and two children of Lawal Ayanshola Soliu, the lawmaker representing Ipaiye/Malete/Olooru of Moro Local Government area in the Kwara State House of Assembly.
It was gathered that the kidnappers reportedly stormed the lawmaker’s residence around 1 am on Monday, shooting sporadically into the air before whisking the victims away.
Their whereabouts remained unknown as of the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, the Kwara State Police Command spokesperson, Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed the incident but added that details of the incident are still sketchy.
