Ghana reduces lending rates to lessen economic tension

Accra, Sept. 30, 2024 – To further lessen to economic tension in the country, Ghana on Friday slashed its main interest rate by 200 basis points to 27%. It is the first rate cut since January as inflation continues to ease, while economic recovery remains robust according to the governor.
