Fire Service Recovers Corpse Of 43-Year Old Man From Stream

The lifeless body of an unidentified 43-year-old man was recovered from a stream in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state, on Tuesday by the state fire service

The spokesman for the Kwara state fire service, Hassan Adekunle, made this disclosure in a statement issued to newsmen on Tuesday in Ilorin, the state capital

According to him, personnel from the fire service promptly responded to a call in the Isale Asa Amilegbe area of Ilorin, Ilorin East Local Government, at about 17:08 hours.

“The dedicated firemen exhibited their remarkable skills and successfully recovered the lifeless body of an unidentified man, approximately 43 years of age. The body was handed over to a team of police officers from the ‘A’ Division of the Nigeria Police Force in Ilorin,” he added.

The Director of the state fire service, Prince Falade John, emphasised the importance of safety and urged the general public to remain vigilant at all times.
