A yet-to-be-identified despatch rider has been caught on camera stealing the brain box of a Toyota car in Ikoyi area of Lagos.
The despatch rider, with the requisite delivery box behind his motorcycle, carried out the operation in a jiffy.
After parking his bike behind the blue Toyota car, he walked to the junction, looked round, then went swiftly to the car and removed it.
He then mounted his motorcycle and fled.
The spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who shared the story on his Twitter handle, called for assistance in arresting the despatch rider.
Hundeyin tweeted: “Any tip leading to his arrest will be appreciated and rewarded.
“This happened in Ikoyi recently.
“ECU popularly called brainbox stolen in a jiffy.
“Extra attention needs to be given to the security of vehicles.”
