BREAKING: Gunmen Invade UNTH, Abduct Deputy Director, Security Man

Gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers, in the early hours of Tuesday, attacked the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku Ozalla, in Enugu State and abducted a female deputy director, nursing services and a security man .

An SUV allegedly belonging to the abducted woman, a nurse, was seen abandoned, with bullet perforated glass on the front passenger side.

A source in the hospital said that the incident occurred at the same location a medical doctor was abducted a few weeks ago.

“This is sad as we are not safe at all in this hospital; everywhere is not safe, everywhere porous,” a staff member said.

The Enugu State Police Command and the Hospital management are yet to confirm the attack as at the time of filing this report.
