BREAKING: Gunmen Invade Nasarawa University Community, kill One, Abduct Dozen Others

Gunmen have invaded Gandu, a community close to the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) in Nazarawa State, killing one person and abducting dozen of villagers to an unknown destination late on Monday night.

The victims of the attack are yet to be identified as of the time of filing this report.

It was gathered that Gandu houses both staff and students of FULafia because of its proximity to the permanent site of the university.

Based on, there is a substantial presence of students and university staff in the area.

In response to the attack, security forces have been deployed to the area to ensure the safety and protection of residents’ lives and property.
