Sokoto, Sept. 18, 2024 – Attahiru Bafarawa, a former Governor of Sokoto State, has donated N1 billion to citizens of the state to cushion effects of current hardship. Bafawara was the governor of the state from 1999 to 2007. He urged the people to forgive him for whatever wrong he did while in office. Abuja, Sept. 18, 2024 – The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is to reintroduce cybersecurity levy on electronic transactions. The apex bank disclosed this in its Monetary, Credit, Foreign Trade, and Exchange Policy Guidelines for 2024-2025 released on Tuesday.
