The Lagos home of the Chief Executive Officer of Adamakin Investment and Works Limited and the sole attorney of late Madam Efunroye Tinubu vast estate, Mr Adams Akinfolabi Akindele was full to the brim on Wednesday, 3 April, 2024 during the Ramadan lecture he organised for Muslims faithful, friends, colleagues, relatives among others.
Akindele used the occasion to call on Nigerians to use the Ramadan period to pray for President Bola Tinubu administration in his quest to make Nigeria great again.
Prominent Muslim clerics, who and who in estate investments business, politicians and others from other works of life, both within and outside Lagos, were present at the lecture.
Speaking at the lecture attended by more than over 100 people, the guest speaker, Imam Opeyemi Belgore, showered praises on Akindele for organizing the lecture, which he said he has been doing for over a decade.
Imam Belgore admonished the Akindele for his humility, his kindness and the love of the religion which has endeared him to a lot of people in his immediate community and beyond.
“I am not surprise at all by the large turnout of people at this lecture today. His humility, his generosity, his milk of human kindness and his love to propagate the teachings of Islam are the reasons we are seeing the sea of heads present here today. I am using this occasion to urge him to continue doing his good virtues of his and almighty Allah will continue to bless him,” Belgore said.
The imam called on the Muslims to use the period of Ramadan to serve Allah, beg for His mercies, love and shower of good health and prosperity and ran away from sins.
Belgore said “Muslims should not have anything to do with sins not only during the Ramadan period but after it”, saying “Almighty Allah hates sin.”
Akindele in speech thanked everybody present for finding the time to attend the Ramadan lecture, just as he vowed that he would not relent in his efforts to serve Allah and humanity.
“I am a great believer in the service of Allah and humanity. I love Islam, I love serving humanity with the little I have. I derive utmost joy in putting smiles on the faces of people. And I will continue doing this till my last breath on earth.” Akindele said.
He used the occasion to call on Muslims and Nigerians, irrespective of their creed, religion and tribe, to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bring back the good old days back to Nigeria, saying that Tinubu has put lot of measures in place to solve the problems of the country, including the present economic crisis.
“I am using this opportunity to call on Muslims during the period of Ramadan and other Nigerians irrespective of their religion, creed and tribe, to pray for President Tinubu to succeed in his efforts to bring back good old days.
“I am appealing to Nigerians to please exercise patience with President Tinubu in his efforts to make Nigeria great again. He meant well for Nigeria. He is not blind to the problems we are facing. He is much concern about the problems we are going through at this moment of economic crisis, and he and his team are working seriously to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians,” Akindele said.
Akindele also used the occasion to warn members of the public not to recognize anybody claiming to be sole attorney of Late Madam Efunroye Efunroye Tinubu vast estate, saying anyone who does so do it at his or her own risk.
“I still remain the authentic and legal sole attorney of late madam vast estate. I am the only one recognised by the family of late Madam Tinubu, any other person who is claiming to be the sole attorney is a fake, not authentic person. So I am appealing to members of the public to be aware of this,” Akindele said.
Present at the occasion include Ronke Akindele,a director in Adamakin Investment who also sister to Mr Akindele. Chief Imam, Abdulrasheed Olokodana, Hoonourable Elegbede olaitan, Alhaji Moshood Ogunniyi, Imam Waliyulah Bakre, Khaleefah Abdulrosheed Alashe Uztazz Yusuff Akinola and Ustazz Sodiq Belgore.
