A prominent Lagos law firm OAF LLP, counsel and solicitor to the Late Madam Efuntroye Tinubu Estate, has condemned the invasion of the Lagos office recently by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a Gestapo manner.
This was contained in a three page letter addressed to the office of Lagos zonal head of the commission dated February 2, 2024, a copy of which was made available to Royaltimes.com
In the letter signed by the Principal OAF LLP ,O.A .Fatoki said , “We are deeply shocked to have received information that the operatives of your commission stormed office in a Gestapo manner.
Fatoki said in the letter that they have been prompted to write the office because of the belief that commission had been made to be acting on the issue based on non-proper briefing or clear case of concealment of facts
Fatoki said the invasion of office is unconstitutional also added that the development caused and subjected staff of the office untold embarrassment, their right to the dignity as human being and freedom to liberty unnecessarily assailed, just as it also caused them great emotional pain , saying the commission did not has the right and is never cloth with such a power.
