Grammy-winning Nigerian famous singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has recorded another miles stone in his music career.
He is now officially the first artist to amass one billion streams on the digital music streaming platform, Boomplay.
Burna Boy achieved the feat following the release of his seventh studio album, “I Told Them.”
According to Boomplay account, the singer has amassed over a billion streams on the platform.
Boomplay is the largest digital music streaming platform in Africa. It was launched in 2015.
Burna Boy is also the most followed artist on the platform with over 600,000 followers.
The “African Giant” crooner is the first Nigerian artist to surpass 1 billion career streams on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Audiomack and Boomplay.
