Human Rights lawyer and activist, Femi Falana SAN has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is tired of governance and needs to return to his hometown in Daura before Nigeria collapses.
Falana spoke during a the protest march organiser by the Nigerian Labour Congress at Lagos State Government Secretariat in solidarity with striking university lecturers.
He thanked the NLC for organising the protest to save the soul of the education sector in Nigeria.
Falana, however, noted that it is painful that despite the ongoing pains in the country the president is globetrotting.
He said, “As we speak our junketing president is on his way to Liberia to deliver a speech. He is tired of ruling and needs to rush back to his hometown.”
However, he urged Nigerians not to give up on their quest for good governance.
The human rights activist also urged Nigerians to compel the president to shun excessive borrowing.
Falana said Nigerians should demand that Buhari use money received from looters to revive Nigeria.
